Pirovac (North Dalmatia, Croatia) is a settlement in Croatia, in region North Dalmatia. It is located around 23 km north from Sibenik. Pirovac is located on Adriatic road, 48 km far from Zadar and 108 km far from Split. Municipality Pirovac has around 2000 inhabitants. Inhabitants are mostly directed to tourism, but also to traditional fishing and agriculture.

Pirovac was first time mentioned in 1298. as Zlosela. It has been called Pirovac since 1921. It was developed in 15th century by refugees running away from Turks. Pirovac keeps many monuments from different times.

Attractions in Pirovac:

- Remains of Roman settlement,

- Remains of defense wall from 1505.,

- Parish Church of St. Juraj from 1506.,

- Remains of Franciscan monastery from 1511. on islet St. Stjepan,
