Cavtat (Croatia, South Dalmatia) is situated near Dubrovnik, 20 kilometres southeast, in southern part of Zupa Bay. Cavtat is small town and small port. Climate is very pleasant, dry and warm summer. Main tourist attractions are luxuriant vegetation and nice shores. Economy of the town is based on tourism (renting rooms, apartments, private accomodation, hotels, motels, renting jet-ski, excursions...), farming and fishing.

Main cultural events are Cavtat Summer, starting in July, ending in August. During event there is a many concerts of harmony-singing groups, folk music groups and sport tournament in waterpolo. Day Of Our Lady (5th of August), church holiday is most popular. Also, there is Carnival Festival, in January and February and Small Carnival Fiesta.

Cavtat is enclosed by 2 peninsulas, Sustjepan and Tiha Bay. Accommodation units are situated in the background of the Cavtat port and Tiha cove. Cavtat is full of nice beaches. They stretch all the way to Cape Prahljevac. Cavtat is well connected with other major Croatian cites through Dubrovnik. Also, near Cavtat is Airport "Cilipi".
