Zirje (Croatia, North Dalmatia, island Zirje) is a settlement on island Zirje. Island Zirje has size of 15,43 km2. It is largest island of Sibenik's archipelago. Island Zirje has around 250 inhabitants.

Island Zirje has few bays which are used for protection of boats from winds. Ferry from Sibenik stays in bay Muna, which is not so protected from the winds. Climate of island Zirje is Mediterranean. Average year temperature is around 15ºC. Highest peak on island is Kapic (131 m). Most of the inhabitants are directed to agriculture and tourism.

Island Zirje is outside island of Sibenik's archipelago. It used to be advance guard during the history. In 15th and 16th century island Zirje was under the rule of Venice. Sibenik's nobels had estates on island Zirje. Island Zirje was mostly used for defense of town Sibenik.
