Zadar (Croatia, North Dalmatia) and its tourist region are situated in the half way across Croatian shore and near some of the most beautifull islands in the world. In a close proximity of Zadar you can find various national parks like Plitvice, Kornati, Krka and Paklenica. The climate is moderate due to location of Zadar and average air temperature in July is 25 °C and 6.5 °C in January. Sunbathing is definitely an option with 200 sunny days a year. Don't forget to use sun-screan. Location of Zadar is in the centar of Dalmatia, right across Italian port of Ravenna, in the centar of Adriatic sea. Nearby cities are Sibenik and Split.

More demanding guests can use Zadar as base for nearby yachting trips, excursions to closer and farther areas but also to experiance all kinds of cultural and artistic events. The most fascinating part of Zadar is its historical centre, where You can find symbol of the city, the curch of St. Donat but also many of museums of Zadar such as the Archeological museum, National museum and Maritme museum. The old town is located on peninsula, across Old port and Jazine bay. It's almost 4 km long and 500 m wide and is surrounded with thick walls, built in 12-th century.

If You like sports, Zadar is a place to be. With all its tennis, basketball and handball courts, Zadar is one of the top Dalmatian sports centers. Also it's long shore line offers You to try numeroues activities such as swimming, sailing, windsurfing, scuba-diving, ect.

If You are interested in yachting, there are two marinas in wider area. Borik marina is located inside the Borik Hotel Complex, in the Borik bay; it has 200 berths in the sea and 100 places on the land; it also owns a charter fleet. Tankerkomerc Zadar marina on the other hand is situated in the city harbour; it has 300 berths in the sea and 200 places on the land.
