Rijeka (Croatia, Kvarner) is third largest city in Croatia and largest croatian harbour. It is situated in north part of croatian Adriatic. Rijeka and its region counts about 305 000 inhabitants. Rijeka was in the 19th century one of the largest middle-european harbours and mighty industrial center. In the beginning of nineties it started developing tourism.
