Racisce (Croatia, South Dalmatia, Island Korcula) is a small town near Korcula, only 12 kilometres away. It is a home for many seaman`s and where many people have wineyards. Town is settled by fugitives from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Makarska in the 17th century. One legend says that the seaman called Racisce his port of salvation. This harbour even today serves for many navigators as a protection from wind.

Old church Saint Vlaho is located in Racisce. Church is dating from 17th century and it has a loggia. Church of Saint Nikola is built newly.
There is a small hotel Mediteran and in it local people and tourists meet. You can stay in hotel or in a private accommodation, such as room, apartments... Economy is based on a fishing, farming and tourism.
