Mali Losinj (Croatia, Kvarner, Island Losinj) is a town on island Losinj. Islands Cres and Losinj were one long time ago, but because of the need for trade they were artifically separated with canal at Osor. Osor was headquarter of bishopric in 9th century. Mali Losinj is largest settlement on the island. It is very important maritime, trade and tourist center. It has 6 500 inhabitants and it is very known among european tourist circles.

Mild climate provides very rich plant life, such as Mexican cactus (opuntia), palms, pistachio nuts, Indian figs, lemon, oranges, tangerines....
