Brist (Central Dalmatia, Croatia) is located around 40 km south from Makarska, in Croatian region Central Dalmatia. It is located between the sea and mountain Biokovo. It has around 450 inhabitants mostly directed to tourism.

HISTORY
Name Brist comes from tree brijesta (elm). It was first time mentioned in 1571. Old village in Brist has many monuments that testify its existance since Prehistory.
