Bribir (Croatia, Istria) is a small town situated on a hill. It was administrative and religious center of medieval Vinodol.

Around the town there are villages which have chapels built mostly in 15th and 16th century. There has been preserved inscription of expert Tomas from 1526. In 1496. in Bribir and Vinodol shows up pest. In 1787. in Bribir was built elementary school which carries the name of the doctor Josip Pancic. In 1883. the reading room was established. First Church of St. Peter and Paul was built by Krk`s dukes around 1225.

In 19th century Bribir was developing outside of city walls. The only remains of Bribir`s citadel are part of the walls and quadrangular tower dating from 1302. There is a great view from the hill where the old part of the town is located.
On Titanic which sunk on 14.04.1912. there were four men from Bribir: Bartol Cor, Ivan Cor, Ludovik Cor and Mirko Dika.
